Sweet potato Purée

Sweet potatoes are a great first food when you start weaning your baby and you can blend in their regular milk. Try this simple purée

Ingredients:

  • 1 sweet potatoes (about 250g)
  • Baby’s milk

Directions:

  1. Heat the oven to 200C (Fan forced). Put the potatoes on a baking tray and roast in the oven for around 45 mins or until a knife inserts easily into the flesh.
  2. Allow to cool a little, carefully peel off the skin, removing any hard bits and blitz in a food processor, with a splash of baby’s milk, until smooth. You may need to scrape the sides of the bowl a few times to get a smooth consistency throughout.
  3. Pour puree in your Guber tray, add lid and freeze.
